If you enjoyed my short story "Mother's Gift," you'll love MG's parent story, "The White Dog." This story is set in the normal Inuyasha universe, but you could call it an alternaverse because I actually started it way back when, and it doesn't correspond with the most recent mangas. Shippo, Sango, and Miroku are all present. Kaede and Myoga are still giving sage advice. Sesshomaru, Kikyo, and Naraku are still the Bad People. The one major chronological key is that the Steel-Cleaving Fang has not been broken yet. Everyone needs to forgive my attrocious mangling of the Japanese language; the only thing I've used it for is names, and I've tried to be as accurate as possible considering my sources. If you see any horribly glaring errors please contact me!
