Inuyasha the dog-demon and Ranma Saotome finally meet, and sparks fly! It's a prideful battle for supremacy that leaves Kagome Higurashi and Akane Tendo at their wits' end. Time-tunnel wells and cursed spring water are very volatile combinations! Will the Warring States' most fearsome half-demon and Nerima's most powerful martial artist become mortal enemies...or will they discover a friendship stronger than either has ever known?
It doesn't start out well. Inuyasha wants to know just what Kagome is doing with this older guy! As usual, the dog-demon demonstrates his remarkable people skills and it goes downhill from there. Ranma shows just how strong he can be--even against a demon! But now Inuyasha's impressed--and he wants to learn martial arts too.
Later, Kagome wants to know where and why Inuyasha's been sneaking around in the modern era, slinking off whenever she goes to school. Cologne wants to capture Inuyasha, while Tofu just wants to study him. Akane mistakes Kagome for another would-be fiancee. Insanity abounds! And Inuyasha, through a stroke of horrendous luck, manages to get on Shampoo's bad side. Shampoo's revenge is anything but pretty.
Amazon Law demands a Jusenkyo punishment. The Girl-Spring is considered the worst curse to inflict on a man, and Shampoo wants Inuyasha to bear a fate worse than death.
Just what does she have in mind?
